With a love of colour and design, Chrysotheque designed jewels are simplistic in form and extravagant in colour and stone.  

Each hand-made piece of jewellery is unique and either limited edition or one-of-a kind.  Beginning with a love of gemstones, each stone is thoughtfully created into a beautiful piece of jewellery.

Founders Christos & Jane Angelakis have been living on the Greek Island of Samos since 1997, having moved there from summers on Hydra Island and sailing the Greek Islands with a base in Athens.  During the winter months, Christos and Jane would spend their time in Manhattan New York where Christos painted and exhibited his artwork and Jane worked for the New York Designer Lee Anderson Couture.  It was during these winter periods that their love of fashion and jewellery developed.

In 2005, Jane & Christos opened Chrysotheque in Pythagorio Samos, bringing together Greek and International designers.  In search for unique, one-of-a-kind extravagant pieces they went about creating their own line using gemstones collected over the years from around the globe.

Their gold collection is mostly set in 18K gold and sterling silver depending on the design.

The gemstones have been collected over the years from Australia, South America, North American, Asia and the middle East.  Precious gemstones including diamonds, black diamonds and fancy diamonds; rubies, sapphires and emeralds as well as semi-precious topaz, citrine, amethyst, aquamarine and other beautiful gemstones from all over the world.

Paying homage to icons of the past, their costume jewellery is bold, unique, architectural, feminine, statement pieces.  

You will find ebony, horn, bone, semi-precious stones and unique materials in limited edition pieces from both international designers and from their own label collection.
